On October 13, 2024, an orientation program was held for Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) and Parish Finance Council (PFC) members at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Thirthalli. The program was organised by Fr Veeresh Moras, the Parish Priest. Most Rev. Bishop Francis Serrao SJ, Bishop of Shimoga, and Fr. Steevan D’Sa, Director of the Diocesan Laity Commission, who served as the resource persons for the day.
A total of 44 PPC members and 6 PFC members from of the parish participated in the event, which aimed to deepen their understanding of their respective roles within the parish structure.
