Shivamogga, Mar 21: The blessing and inauguration of the new renovated computer lab was held on 21 March at Sacred Heart Composite PU College, Shivamogga.
The computer laboratory was inaugurated by the chief guests of the day Most. Rev Dr Francis Serrao SJ, President of Mount Carmel Education Society, Rev. Fr Stanish D'Souza, Manager of Sacred Heart Institutions, Rev. Fr Clifford Roshan Pinto, the Education Secretary and Rev. Fr Francis Noronha SJ , Director of Sacred Heart PU college. Soon after the inauguration, the laboratory was blessed by the Bishop. Thereafter had refreshments for the staff. It was the vision of Rev. Fr Francis Noronha to have a computer lab for the college.
Addressing the gathering, Bishop Francis said, “The campus has improved a lot and the strength of the students need to be increased. Congratulations to the efforts of all".
Fr Stany D'Souza said, “I am overwhelmed with the vision of Fr Francis Noronha. The staff have joined their hands together in the development of the college.” He also thanked Fr Roshan Pinto for his contribution in overseeing the work.
Mr. Elson welcomed the gathering, Rev. Fr Francis Noronha SJ rendered the vote of thanks.
