Hiriyur, June 21, 2019: Our Lady of Assumption Church Hiriyur, Chitradurga District, Diocese of Shimoga Celebrated St. Anthony's feast on June 11, 2019. At 6:30pm Parish Priest Fr Franklin D'Souza blessed the St. Anthony's 'TERU'. Then together with Rosary faithful took the procession. After the procession people gathered in front of the church for the Novena. Fr Franklin and Fr Nelson led the Novena.

Festal Holy Eucharist began at 7:30pm Parish Priest Fr Franklin D'Souza Celebrated the Holy Eucharist together with Assistant Parish Priest Fr Alphonse Nelson D'Souza. Fr Franklin D'Souza in his homily spoke on call of God to witness the love of Jesus. St. Anthony became a testimony of love of Christ. After the Mass. Parish Priest and assistant Parish Priest honored Mrs. Magdala Maria who won the recent ward election. She served the food for all the faithful. Fr Franklin D'Souza thanked everyone.
