Sorab, July 26: In view of the celebration of the year of reconciliation there was a Taize Prayer Service at Sorab on 25.07.2019.

The diocese of Shimoga has declared this year 2019 as the year of Reconciliation. There are various Spiritual as well as temporal activities are in force in the entire diocese to realise its purpose. One of the spiritual activities is a Cross is being circulated in the parishes in all the four deaneries of the diocese. Holy Eucharist followed by Adoration of the Cross with Taize Prayer Service was the hallmark of the day. The Taize chants and Bhajans helped the people to pray. Fr. Victor Pais had organised the programme. The Media and Communication Commission director Fr. Ronald Veigas conducted the prayer service.
