An orientation program for the members of the Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) and Parish Finance Committee (PFC) of the Holy Family Deanery was held on 20th October 2024 at Assumption Church Hall, Hiriyur. The event was organized by Fr. Ronald D’Cunha, the Parish Priest of Assumption Church, who made arrangements for the venue.
The program began with a prayer led by Fr. Ronald D’Cunha, followed by a warm welcome extended to the participants from the parishes of Hiriyur, Chitradurga, Hosadurga, Challakere, and Molakalmooru. The resource person for the orientation was Fr. Steevan D’Sa, Director of the Laity Commission for the Diocese of Shimoga, who conducted two enriching sessions for the PPC and PFC members.There were 44 members who attended the session.
The sessions provided valuable insights and were highly appreciated by the participants. The program concluded with the celebration of the Sunday Mass, presided over by Fr. Steevan D’Sa. A delicious lunch, organized by Fr. Ronald D’Cunha, followed the Mass.
